Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Ajman’s General Manager Iftikhar Hamdani bagged the Wyndham Hotel Group EMEA President’s Award for CSR 2016. Hamdani was again recognised by the group for its innovative and substantial Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives over the past year.
The management and staff of Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Ajman are beaming with pride after being honoured with Waste Management Award at the Gulf Sustainability and CSR Awards 2016. Competing against the region’s most prominent companies from diverse industries like Emaar Community Management, Farnek Services LLC and Dubai Duty Free. The Finals and Awards Ceremony took place over one day on February 15, 2017. The awards are designed to provide recognition for companies and individuals implementing outstanding Sustainability and CSR initiatives across the region.
Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Ajman received the prestigious Green Globe certification, following a comprehensive audit carried out by Farnek Middle East. The property is the first hotel in the Ajman to secure the certification, which is the result of its creative approach to sustainable management. Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Ajman is the first in the UAE to launch a compost project for hotels, and also engages an energy-saving scheme, and a variety of awareness campaigns highlighting sustainability.
